Le forum de l'équipage de l'Escorteur d'Escadre Duperré a été créé le 30 aout 2009 sous l'impulsion du Matelot Bruno Malatesta et du Quartier-Maître Yves Pioct. L'idée était de construire un forum en créant un bateau virtuel, un Duperré virtuel avec ses membres qui, après inscription et présentation sur le forum, sont considérés comme Membres d'équipage du Duperré. Après ce passage à la coupée et au BSI, les membres choisissent leur banette et peuvent partager leurs souvenirs et aventures avec leurs camarades du bord! Le forum est géré par un Etat-Major d'Officiers composé des deux Administrateurs du forum et de leurs modérateurs. Le Commandant du forum du Duperré: Matelot Bruno Malatesta. Le Commandant en Second: Qm2 Yves Pioct. Les Sous-Officiers du forum: Matelot Valdo67, Qm2 Snake, SM JB et le QM Thierry Collas. Le fonctionnement du forum est comme suit. Après son inscription, le nouveau membre doit passer obligatoirement par le sujet "PRESENTE TOI ICI MATELOT!" afin de s'y présenter en précisant ses grades de l'époque à bord, sa spécialité à bord et ses dates de présence à bord. Puis mettre une photo de l'époque à bord si possible afin de rajouter celle ci dans un trombinoscope défilant sur la page d'acceuil du forum. Ce lieu est aussi un lieu de retrouvailles. Il est fait pour retrouver des copains du bord perdu de vue. C'est pour cela que nous insistons sur le fait qu'il est important de poster des photos sur le forum et de se présenter. Le carré a été mis en place comme à bord. On s'y retrouve autour d'un verre pour un anniversaire ou des fêtes diverses. Membres d'Honneur du forum:
Une catégorie "Membres d'honneur" a été créée il y a quelques mois. Cette catégorie concerne les marins de tous grades confondus ayant, à bord ou sur le forum, soutenu et aidé un marin en difficulté, acte courageux à bord, réservé aux membres du premier équipage du Duperré en 1956 ainsi qu'aux Officiers de haut-rang tels un Amiral ou des anciens commandants du Duperré ou encore des personnalités qui approuvent, soutiennent ou parrainent le forum et son site.
Les membres d'Honneur de droit le deviennent automatiquement. Les Membres d'Honneur demandant une reunion de l'Etat-Major du forum le deviennent après un vote soumit aux Administrateurs et Modérateurs du forum.
Tout Membre d'Honneur apparait dans une catégorie nommée "Membres d'Honneur" ou sa photo apparait en bonne place.
Tout Membre d'Honneur recevra par la poste un diplôme de Membre d'Honneur du Forum de l'Equipage de l'Escorteur d'Escadre Duperré.
